We are looking to hire a Fulfillment Specialist

Chesapeake Systems provides Creative IT for Creative Professionals

Our team is excited and thrives in working on that mission, and a critical part of our operation is the fulfillment of high-end, technically-complex orders to our regional, national and international customer base.

We are looking for a detailed-oriented, take charge, enthusiastic person who will exceed customer expectations in this critical activity of our business.

We will consider candidates who are looking for a in-office part-time situation (e.g. noon – 6p)

Success in this position will be determined by the following:
* efficient, error-free procurement and receiving from a wide-range of vendors
* determine best, cost-efficient method of delivery for each order: from courier to standard shipping methods to international freight
* proper packaging to ensure safe delivery of wide range of materials to clients
* develop relationships with shipping entity reps
* stay abreast of latest state-of-the-art online portals of shippers  
* be proactive with providing tracking information and follow-up with sales team and client
* be avail 7/24 to solve crisis situations as they arise (and they will arise!)
* exceed client expectations to the point that we receive positive unsolicited comments from satisfied clients

Additional Responsibilities
* develop a sophisticated approach to market surplus inventory on eBay and similar portals

Prerequisites:
* successful multi-tasker
* comfortable working independently
* ease in working with computers (Mac experience a plus)
* experience in working with complex spreadsheets and databases
* familiar with delivery/shipping methods, ranging from courier to UPS, FedEx to international freight
* smartphone savvy
* good credit check
* drivers license, good driving record
