September 13th, 2024

Baltimore, MD – CHESA, a leader in media technology systems integration, is excited to announce that it has been awarded a major contract to modernize the broadcasting infrastructure of a prominent Civilian Government Agency based in Washington, D.C. This large-scale project, scheduled for completion by the end of 2024, will replace the agency’s outdated systems with state-of-the-art IP-based technology designed to meet the evolving demands of modern broadcasting.

CHESA’s plan involves a complete overhaul of the agency’s broadcasting systems, including the decommissioning of legacy equipment, cabling, and outdated furniture. The new infrastructure will incorporate a turnkey production environment built on advanced IP connectivity that adheres to the SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE ST 2022-7 standards, ensuring stream redundancy and long-term scalability.

The award-winning project will be executed in partnership with NEXTlevel Technology Group and Lawson & Associates Architects. This collaboration brings together deep expertise in broadcast modernization, ensuring a seamless transition for the agency while reducing potential downtime. CHESA’s team will conduct rigorous equipment preparation and testing at their facility before the installation, ensuring an efficient implementation process once the system is deployed onsite.

CHESA’s comprehensive integration plan is tailored to support the agency’s current workflows while preparing them for future needs. By focusing on innovation and long-term reliability, the project will empower the agency to deliver high-quality broadcast content well into the future. This award further demonstrates CHESA’s dedication to delivering top-tier, customized media workflow solutions for organizations that rely on cutting-edge technology.
