Exelon’s Creative Media team is headquartered in Baltimore and provides graphic design, video production, photography, printing and other support for Exelon and each of its operating companies.
The Creative Media team had encountered major storage-related challenges. Their SAN (Storage Area Network) had run out of space and, to escalate matters, impending software upgrades would render that SAN obsolete.

Chesapeake Systems provided Exelon with a series of options for their storage challenges ranging from quick fixes to investments in the future.
Once the new system was selected, Chesapeake Systems migrated all of Exelon’s data while concurrently allowing active users to access the same data on the existing system.
The new hardware and file system that was implemented by Chesapeake Systems has Exelon set up for peak performance over the next several years.
