Lance joined Chesapeake Systems in 2020 through the acquisition of StorExcel, a reseller and systems integration firm which he founded and served as President for over 7 years. Lance serves as our Vice President of Sales, overseeing our sales and business development efforts across our regions nationwide covering both commercial and federal teams.

Prior to launching StorExcel, Mr. Hukill held a variety of roles at Quantum Corporation having joined (via ADIC) in 1999. These roles included Vice President of Worldwide Software Sales, Advanced Solutions Business Unit management, Federal Sales Director, and Account Executive. Mr. Hukill’s responsibilities ranged from Sales Management to Alliance/Channel Development supporting Vertical and Geographic driven go-to-market strategies and sales execution.

Prior to ADIC, Mr. Hukill spent two years at SANZ (formerly Vangard Technology) with roles as Account Executive and System Engineering Management.

Additionally, Mr. Hukill spent 6 years with Harris Corporation and Lockheed Martin in a variety of Engineering Management and Software Development positions supporting Geospatial programs within the National Intelligence Community.
