DevOps Engineer – Baltimore, MD

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, test, troubleshoot and deploy comprehensive and reliable monitoring checks and tools for new and existing support clients.
  • Assisting the Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, test, troubleshoot and deploy comprehensive and reliable updates for SAN Fusion the leading project and media sharing platform integrated with existing Xsan, StorNext or NFS-based storage.
  • Working Senior DevOps Engineer to review issues and feature request submitted by the support team for monitoring and SAN Fusion.

Qualifications & Skills

Skill Requirements

  • Experience installing, configuring and supporting RedHat/CentOS, macOS, and Windows.
  • Experience in *NIX system administration and troubleshooting for multiple Unix/Linux flavors.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and core utilities, focusing on the basic file, shell and text manipulation utilities.
  • Working knowledge of Git.
  • Working knowledge of networking equipment – Fibre Channel, Ethernet over Fibre, and traditional TCP/IP copper ethernet, including concepts, switching, cabling, and routing.
  • Working knowledge of production storage – Xsan, StorNext, and other network attached storage and storage area networks.
